Kansas City Chiefs to Sign WR Tee Higgins in Latest Projection
Although the Kansas City Chiefs have won the Super Bowl twice in a row, they were far from perfect. The Chiefs lead the NFL in passes dropped and were among the lowest-scoring teams in the fourth quarter.
Everyone is aware that Travis Kelce, the tight end, and Patrick Mahomes are not the issue. The offensive line also played quite well, with an exception to giving up too many defensive pressures on the edges. Wide receivers was the obvious problem
Travis Kelce and Rashee Rice were two of Patrick Mahomes’ most dependable targets on the Kansas City Chiefs throughout the regular season of the previous year. The two guys totaled 1,872 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns between them. Only 2,511 yards and 16 touchdowns were scored by the rest of the squad, with running backs accounting for seven of those scores on touchdown grabs.
Though Rashee Rice is a good option and Travis Kelce is worth more than almost any receiver in the league, just think about what would happen if the Chiefs had another receiver on the other side of the field who was equally dangerous.
