The two Brazilians who play for Tottenham Hotspur have been talking about life both within and outside the Premier League team.

Richarlison and Emerson Royal have discussed Cristian Romero’s fierceness during Tottenham training, why they wouldn’t risk sending Yves Bissouma to Brazil, and how going to treatment has changed them.

The two spoke with Brazilian influencer Fred for an hour on his YouTube channel Desimpedidos about their troubles in the past, life at Tottenham Hotspur, their teammates, and how seeing a psychologist has improved their time there.

When asked which of their Tottenham teammates was most like a Brazilian, the two responded quickly with Bissouma, setting up a lighthearted conversation.

“Bissouma. Everything about him is Brazilian. He like our products. He enjoys everything about us, the good and the bad. enjoys going out and everything. He’s unique,” Emerson remarked.

But they shook their heads when asked if they would take him on a journey back to their native country.

“I refused to accept him. There, he’ll be arrested, and I’ll be the one to blame! Emerson remarked, “He would screw things up a lot,” and Richarlison responded, “I don’t want that responsibility.”

The leaders of Spurs were also discussed, with captain Son Heung-min receiving accolades for both his character and the role he has played this season.

Emerson clarified, “Man tries to speak Portuguese, tries to speak Spanish.” “I assert that he shares many characteristics with us Brazilians, such as his sense of self-worth and manner of life. He’s a friend. I think he’s great. He’s our captain now. He therefore assumed that obligation even more now that he is even more.”

“He guides yes, not as much as Harry Kane, but he talks quite a bit,” Richarlison remarked. Naturally, with all his years at Tottenham, he also comes with a great deal of responsibility. Therefore, he’s the one who must assume accountability with us.

Romero, one of Son’s vice captains, was quickly identified by both players as the guy who would always have their back and serve as the team’s unofficial bodyguard—even though Richarlison, 26, wasn’t always treated that way.

“The rivalry between Brazil and Argentina was already established when I played against Romero during Tottenham vs. Everton. I believe I had previously faced him during the South American Championship with the U20s. The striker vowed to dislike Argentineans and Uruguayans for the rest of his life, saying, “For goodness’ sake, those guys are too cocky.”

After that, Richarlison signed with Spurs and had the bruises to show that he had earned Romero’s respect on the practice fields the hard way. The Brazilian team looked at how the Argentine tackles both in practice and in games, and they weren’t about to refute the reputation that the player has for not holding back on the Hotspur Way field.

“He is a skilled hitter. He hits without getting charged. Ball and shin, that’s what Richarlison said.

“I’ve seen few people hit like him in my life,” Emerson continued. He nearly smashes your leg, but he recovers and is unharmed. He knows how to hit, but he does it on purpose. For example, some players hit, but they also commit a lot of fouls. You It’s evident that he struck and injured the man, but you don’t notice that he rotated his ankle right away.”

“It’s the same in training, alright? Richarlison said, “In training, you have to get the ball and move immediately away.

Richarlison was initially subjected to the Argentine’s intense tests at the Spurs training complex, but Emerson disclosed that he now leaves him alone.

“In training, he doesn’t hit everyone. Romero becomes obsessed with something and then wants to acquire the guy—but not just any guy—during training. He said, “He won’t hit you (nods to Richarlison).” “In the beginning, when he arrived, he would hit Richarlison, because they had a kind of rivalry, but then it became calm.”
