According to insiders who spoke to Football Insider, Rangers will increase their transfer budget by almost £20 million if they are able
to play in the Champions League the following year.
The Glasgow giants have closed the seven-point deficit that separated them from Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premiership
standings.
The team led by Philippe Clement will automatically qualify for the 2024–25 Champions League if they can maintain their position
atop the standings and win the club’s 56th league championship.
Next season, the coveted European championship will adopt a Swiss-style format, dropping the group rounds and adding four more
teams.
Rather, clubs will compete in a league system, which ensures that the Rangers will play at least four home games at Ibrox.
