“Very amazing”: Former Rangers star in peak form after paying £4.6 million—”a steal”

Malik Tillman, a former Rangers loanee, is making an impression at PSV Eindhoven after signing a permanent £12 million contract

that makes the midfielder owned by Bayern Munich “a bargain.”

The fact that players like Ismael Saibari, Guus Til, and Patrick van Aanholt, who would walk into practically any other Eredivisie team

without a sweat, are not even guaranteed starters for Peter Bosz’s runaway leaders, says volumes about the almost unparalleled

strength in depth at PSV’s disposal. After being such a success when on loan at Rangers in 2023–2024, Tillman has made nine

appearances this season both off the bench and in the PSV starting lineup. Even with his limited playing timethe former Ibrox star

has proven that a £4.6 million permanent move is well worth rubber-stamping, even though he has spent the majority of his time in

Eindhoven on the bench.

Former Rangers ace starring at PSV Eindhoven

Dutch football expert Valentijn Driessen tells De Telegraaf, “It’s a bargain,” after Tillman finished PSV’s 2-2 draw with Feyenoord last

Saturday by nutmegging the highly-rated David Hancko and blasting home.

Tillman made a really wise decision. Of course, if you can find it, it’s a great deal. He will score a lot if he plays two or three more

excellent Champions League games.

Driessen thinks that the £4.6 million price is an investment for the future as well as the present. Like many Dutch clubs, PSV follows a

sign-low, sell-high philosophy. With Tillman’s skill, cunning, and final product, the club might make a sizable profit in the future.
