After Adam Idah‘s loan stint at Celtic, his parent club, Norwich City, plans to sell him,

sources have told Football Insider.

The Canaries will try to capitalize on the attacker following his spectacular transfer to Celtic Park,

according to Scottish correspondent Daniel Bowers,

who was speaking on the most recent episode of Football Insider’s Insider Track Podcast.

Football Insider has been informed by reliable sources that Celtic views it as a “disaster” that they are unable to purchase Idah’s move.

He was a major asset to the Hoops in recent weeks after joining the Glasgow giants on a six-month loan during the January transfer window.
He has made seven appearances for the team in all competitions, with five goals and one assist.

In February, he scored braces against Motherwell and Hibernian to seal the victory.

Having had a successful start to his career in Glasgow,

Norwich will allow him to leave permanently after he failed to establish himself at Carrow Road.

Last month (February 29),

sources revealed to Football Insider that the Glasgow giants will need to pay a hefty fee to secure the permanent transfer of the 23-year-old Republic of Ireland international in the summer.

Nonetheless, Football Insider (February 27) was informed by reliable sources that Idah is amenable to a possible permanent transfer to the team during the summer transfer window.
Even though Celtic lost 2-0 at Hearts on Sunday, March 3,

they are still only two points behind league leaders Rangers.

They are next in action in the quarter-finals of the Scottish Cup against Livingston on Sunday afternoon (10 March).
