Michael Owen thinks Rangers’ second goal in the 2-2 Europa League draw with Benfica may have been lucky.

The Portuguese powerhouses had never dropped a game in the second division of the UEFA Cup at home,

but Philippe Clement’s team battled them to a draw to position themselves favorably for the return leg at Ibrox the following week.

Owen questions if the Rangers were fortunate to see play continue.

“Lustrous finish, Tom Lawrence,” he said to TNT Sports. The Rangers got off to a fantastic start with accuracy right into the corner.
