Kansas City Chiefs. After J.C. Jackson was cut by the Patriots last week after an

exciting 2023 season, they are now trying to strengthen the position group.

This offseason, the Chiefs have had their fair share of turmoil, most of which stems from their need to manage their cap situation while

Sneed was given the franchise tag by the Chiefs last week, but they also gave him freedom to look for a trade.

“As anticipated, cornerback L’Jarius Sneed was formally assigned the franchise tag by the Kansas City Chiefs. Despite the designation,

Sneed is still able to pursue a trade. The Minnesota Vikings, Indianapolis Colts, Tennessee Titans, New England Patriots, Detroit

Lions, Atlanta Falcons, and Jacksonville Jaguars have all expressed interest in the Chiefs cornerback, according to a person with

firsthand knowledge of the matter who spoke with USA TODAY Sports. Because of the sensitive nature of the matter, the person spoke

to USA TODAY Sports under the condition of anonymity.

Sneed was instrumental in the Chiefs’ victory over the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl. Last season, he was among the league’s

top cornerbacks. Sneed would significantly strengthen the Patriots defense, which is already formidable.
