David Edgar has branded Motherwell‘s teenager a “huge talent” following his performance against Rangers at Ibrox, Clement shows interest.
Lennon Miller, a teenager from Motherwell, was hailed as a “huge talent” by David Edgar after his performance at Ibrox against the Rangers.
On March 4, the creator of Heart & Hand Podcast gave the 17-year-old praise on Twitter, following his ninety minutes in Stuart Kettlewell’s midfield during the unexpected 2-1 victory two days earlier.
Based on his performances this season, Miller has already been tipped for a possible summer transfer to Ibrox, though some believe leaving Fir Park too soon.
According to Heart & Hand, “This boy is a player.” Huge talent.
Lennon Miller performed admirably for Motherwell once more at Ibrox following rumors about Rangers.
In his first significant senior football season, the teenager has made 23 first-team appearances thus far this season across all competitions. He overcame a two-month injury layoff to keep up his impressive play.
There will be suggestions that Philippe Clement could pursue the SPFL talent as long as he continues to perform, similar to the connections to Lawrence Shankland.
Although there isn’t quite as much of a clear need for midfield additions as there is up top right now, things could change in the summer.
Unless he will receive the same amount of playing time elsewhere, it is probably too early to make a move at this point. In addition, there is the pressure from the Old Firm to consider.
There have already been rumors that Lennon Miller is leaving Fir Park.
In back-to-back weeks against Celtic and Rangers, he has proven he is capable of playing at a high level, and he will probably be useful wherever he plays next season.
However, unless there is an offer they can’t refuse, Motherwell will be reluctant to let him go, so it’s likely that he will stay put unless things drastically change before the summer.
