Report: Darren Waller is debating a significant choice regarding his future
Tight end Darren Waller of the New York Giants is allegedly thinking about making a significant choice regarding his NFL future.
According to Paul Schwartz and Ryan Dunleavy of the New York Post, Waller is unsure if he will make a comeback in 2024. According to early rumors, Waller had thought about retiring, but agent Drew Rosenhaus had told the Giants that the tight end planned to play one more season.
But Waller said in a statement to the New York Post that he is “still undecided” about whether to play again.
The Giants want Waller back as long as he wants to, and he is expected to make $10.5 million the next season. Last season, he played in just 12 games due to injury and managed just one touchdown reception.
It seems like Waller might be going through some personal upheaval as well. His return to the Giants currently seems very unlikely, but there’s no word on when things will be resolved.
