Rangers manager Philippe Clement says that for the duration of the current campaign and beyond,

he wants Ibrox to be completely occupied.

The Belgian believes that there is a great bond between the players and supporters and that those that leave Ibrox early, dubbed the

Subway Loyal, should make every effort to stay in their seats and cheer for the team after games are over.

With only a few minutes remaining, it’s not uncommon to see Ibrox half empty as thousands of fans make sure they can avoid the

worst of the traffic in Govan and the city center after the game.

However, with Rangers and Celtic tied for first place in the Scottish Premiership, Clement believes his first team team needs as much

support from the crowd as possible. He only wants supporters to remain longer at Ibrox because “every second” matters.

Philippe Clement stated, as reported in the Daily Record: “It could (come down to goal difference).

” Thus, every little assistance counts.

“I hope people can remain longer because the players go around the stadium and to every corner (to congratulate the fans) because

they genuinely want to show respect to everyone who was rooting for them.

However, I am also aware that people lead private lives, and juggling all the traffic and departing buses is not an easy task. To witness

the games, fans travel from all over Scotland and even abroad.
