Jerry Jones, the owner of the Cowboys, has declared his intention to put in “all-in” work this offseason to try to strengthen his squad. His pledge to be “all-in” seemed unclear, given the Cowboys’ numerous cap struggles.

Jerry gave a rather worthless remark to reporters covering the team during his yearly Scouting Combine tour-bus media conference.

According to Michael Gehlken of the Dallas Morning News, Jones stated, “Your definition of what is all in and mine might not be the same thing, but I’m trying to win the games this year with my decision.” “I’m committed to this year,”

Later in his speech, Jones stated, “Okay, I’ve drafted quarterbacks for the future.

” That’s something I wouldn’t want to undertake this year. For instance,

if you had the chance, use this year’s first pick to select a quarterback for the future.

He’s sitting there, the best thing since ice cream, and you’re 24. This year,

I wouldn’t want to do it. ‘All in’ is how they say it this year.

That’s not truly going all in. That makes sense. Additionally,

it shows that the Cowboys intend to extend the contract of quarterback Dak Prescott, who is in the final season of a four-year,

$160 million contract with a cap figure of $59.4 million.

Why then did he declare that he is “all-in”? It’s difficult to ignore the question of whether

he only says what needs to be said to ensure that the Cowboys are always in the news.

It’s also difficult to ignore the possibility that his true motivation may be convincing everyone

that he is more driven than actually winning another Super Bowl.

Though it has been 29 years since the Cowboys have played in an NFC Championship game,

there is no better way to sell tickets, generate excitement, and guarantee that the Cowboys will always be “America’s team.”

To be honest, it is more impressive that the Cowboys have managed to maintain

their high reputation and attract more fans to their games than any other club in over 30 years,

even though they haven’t made it to the NFL final four.

They have also won a Super Bowl in that same time frame. Jones’s ability to continually promote his club,

even when it consistently falls short of living up to the hype

through postseason performances that advance past the divisional round,

is largely responsible for that.

Consequently, the Cowboys continue to win in a very different manner even

if they consistently lose important postseason games.

They haven’t done nearly enough to earn the title of most prominent team in the league,

yet they still hold that position.

As a result, Jones has achieved a far greater win while the club’s detractors rejoice

every year that the team fails to advance to the Super Bowl. Even in the absence of on-field success,

his team remains the most valuable and appealing franchise in the whole league.
