Breaking: English star accepts Rangers offer

The contract of Coventry City midfielder Callum O’Hare expires in the summer. The Rangers are reportedly “monitoring” Tom Collomosse.

The 25-year-old is currently free to talk to teams outside of England about a deal. A Daily Mail journalist tweeted on March 1st that the Light Blues and their Old Firm rivals Celtic are both considering him.

Scouts from three Spanish teams have been expected to watch him play on Friday night against West Brom. March 1, expressing their shared interest.

“Think up to three La Liga clubs will watch Callum O’Hare play for Coventry at West Brom on Friday,” said Collomosse.

After his contract expires this summer, O’Hare will have the freedom to negotiate with teams outside of England. Rangers and Celtic are also being observed.

Unquestionably, O’Hare would be a shining example of the inexpensive pickup that has typified recent Ibrox transfer windows.

Players like Jack Butland, Dujon Sterling, and Tom Lawrence were sent to Glasgow by English teams on free transfers. All of them have contributed significantly, at least when they were well.

The list of low-cost signings who were previously expected to depart in a few months is led by Todd Cantwell. However, that has become more of a mixed bag due to Nico Raskin and Jose Cifuentes’ troubles this term.

Englishman O’Hare has scored nine goals and provided four assists across all competitions this season. This suggests he might be a dynamic addition to Philippe Clement’s team. However, Celtic could line up against you, as is typically the case with possible targets, if he is included in the mix.

Win or lose, it might be a tough race depending on whether Spanish teams are present at The Hawthorns.

But it appears like Rangers must start talking quickly if they are serious in staying in the race.

Even with Cantwell out due to injury, attacking midfield is probably not a key need in the Gers’ current roster.

However, it’s unlikely that the manager will take anything for granted, so adding from a position of strength is still a possibility.
