Rangers injury blow as January signing set to see specialist after being ruled out of Motherwell clash

Premiership encounter against Motherwell at Ibrox.

There was concern for the 20-year-old winger, who joined on loan from Lens in January, when he was forced off during the midweek

win at Kilmarnock after going down clutching his hamstring on the 70-minute mark.

The Colombian will miss Saturday’s game against the Steelmen at Ibrox, according to Rangers manager Philippe Clement. However,

he was unable to provide a firm time estimate for the Colombian’s absence as he continues to await

a complete diagnostic regarding the severity of the injury.

Clement declared, “Oscar will not be in.” I am unsure of the duration. I can’t really speak too much about it because we are

investigating it with the physicians and professionals.”

Better news for Rangers supporters regarding Tom Lawrence was that Clement verified the midfield player’s condition, saying he is

“okay.” Midweek, the midfielder was substituted with 15 minutes left after scoring the game-winning goal.

Kemar Roofe will return to the Rangers squad after missing the match at Kilmarnock due to the artificial surface,

while Ryan Jack is also available for selection.
