In an official statement made on December 3 following a meeting with the SFA and Police Scotland, the hoops club admitted that they could face punishment.

Early sanctions were expected to harm the team’s finances.

However, the financial expert acknowledged that infractions could ultimately result in a point penalty.

“If this persisted, you could expect fines at the very least.

However, you can also be discussing point deductions.

There have been conversations regarding how to put a stop to this type of behavior.

“In the end, the supporters suffer more from the points loss than from the financial consequences.

So, while I don’t believe it will reach that degree, if it continues, further fines and penalties will be imposed.

“The club should make that remark public.

If it continues, it will at the very least cost the club money.

But you don’t want to take the chance of something more serious.”

In other Rangers news,

Plumley has stated that the team might claim they lost out after a transaction worth more than £900 million was approved.
