Celtic enter Negotiation with Norwich City to make striker deal permanent

The Hoops have struggled for points in recent weeks, squandering key Scottish Premiership points to Aberdeen and Kilmarnock in draws.

Transfer update: Adam Idah to Celtic.

According to rumors this week, striker Adam Idah, who is on loan from Norwich City until the end of the season, is considering a permanent move to Celtic.

According to Football Insider writer O’Rourke, Celtic will have to pay a “big-money fee” to get Idah this summer. The 23-year-old has impressed Parkhead authorities, but the Canaries will demand a high fee.

The Republic of Ireland international has made an impression in his five league outings for the Hoops, scoring five goals and providing one assist.

His most important contribution came against Motherwell, where his two efforts made the difference. Rodgers lauded the striker as a consequence, saying: “Kyogo’s strengths are running in behind and into space, but this is a game when we need that, and Adam can do that; we also need a team reference. “He scored two fantastic goals. His first header is incredible; Greg (Taylor) sent an excellent cross, but his header is simply brilliant. And then, obviously, he makes his first-post run and scores the second.”

Celtic are allegedly willing to break their transfer record on a massive signing this summer, so if the funds are right, perhaps Idah could be that man, making this one to watch.
