Everton player now back on the grass as fresh update emerges ahead of West Ham clash
to win their first game of 2024.
The Toffees need to start winning some games right now because they haven’t won any in the Premier League this season.
Earlier this week, Everton got back four points after a successful appeal, and as a result, they have jumped
to 15th in the Premier League table.
The Toffees will be set for another hearing and they could likely face another point deduction, although it won’t be too severe. But,
even losing a single point could make a big difference.
Sean Dyche has stated that Andre Gomes is making good progress toward his goal of being fit before the game. Though he is back on
the turf, the 30-year-old is still not well enough to participate in full training sessions.
“André has rejoined us on the grass.” In his news conference prior to the game, Dyche stated, “He’s going well.”
Everton need to win at Goodison Park
Although Dyche acknowledged that the Everton players never lost desire or focus, it had begun to nag at them in the background. They
may play more freely now that they have clarity.
In the last game, Everton should have defeated Brighton, but they gave up a late goal that made it seem like a loss.
The Toffees need to find ways to score goals. Dominic Calvert-Lewin is going through a horrible run of form, and probably it’s time
Dyche must find another alternative route.
Calvert-Lewin is lacking in confidence at the moment, and he is not contributing enough. West Ham are heading into this game on the
back of a strong 4-2 win against Brentford where Jarrod Bowen scored a hat-trick.
David Moyes is going to be hoping to defeat his old team. Fans of Everton are hoping for a passionate display from Dyche’s team, and
this could be the ideal match for them to start winning again.
