Rangers Break Celtic Heart after Agreeing Deal for Arsenal star

As Alfredo Morelos gets back amongst the goals with Santos, the man who the ex-Rangers striker replaced is pulling up trees with Europa League foes Benfica.

Colombian firebrand Morelos, 27, scored two goals in three games for the Brazilian giants,

who are looking to recover from their first relegation in history.

But as Rangers progress, the Ibrox club may have to face the man whose boots Alfredo Morelos is attempting to fill in the Benfica attacker Marcos Leonardo.

the Brazilian hitman is already proving his worth in Portugal as he makes his European debut.

Marcos Leonardo will face Rangers with Benfica.
Marcos Leonardo, who joined Benfica in January,

has already scored four goals for the Liga Portugal leaders and is one of numerous forwards Rangers should be mindful of.

The Brazilian joins Angel di Maria, Rafa, Joao Mario, Arthur Cabral,

David Neres, and Casper Tengstedt in an attacking-minded squad at the Estadio de Luz.

Rangers’ forward line flashed its muscles over the weekend,

but they will fear no one as they look to advance to the Europa League quarterfinals.

Marco Leonardo is simply another obstacle for the Ibrox team to overcome,

with the high price tag and buzz surrounding the youngster adding to the drama.

Leonardo made his first Europa League appearance in Portugal,

coming off the bench in the pivotal 2-1 home win against Toulouse,

with a Round of 16 match against Rangers on the horizon.

Gers will enjoy their Europa League chances.
Rangers are the “underdogs” in this Europa League encounter,

according to Philippe Clement, but Benfica are far from unstoppable.

Rangers may be optimistic about their prospects against the Portuguese after failing to advance from a Champions League group that included Real Sociedad and Inter Milan.

Philippe Clement has instilled a never-say-die attitude in the Ibrox ranks,

and the club’s victory over Real Betis and subsequent journey to the 2022 Europa League Final in Seville will serve as encouragement.

Rangers, whether led by Marcos Leonardo or not,

will not be concerned about Benfica’s arrival in an intriguing Europa League tie that anyone can call.
