Celtic suffer another injury, as key player set to misses rest of the seasons matches
Celtic appear to have suffered another injury problem as the player has missed training and will be out in mid-week…
Celtic have consistently dealt with injury issues this season,
which is one of the main reasons why they have never really found their groove.
Brendan Rodgers has had to change his lineup frequently owing to missing players,
resulting in little to no continuity in the starting XI.
Cameron Carter-Vickers’ return to action against Motherwell was fantastic news for Celtic.
However, another center-back has been sidelined.
Maik Nawrocki was Celtic’s starting centre-back against Motherwell.
He was pulled off after an hour, and it appears that he has a fitness concern.
According to the Daily Record, Nawrocki was unable to train on Monday and is currently receiving intense treatment.
The leg injury is causing concern, and he will miss the midweek match against Dundee FC.
It’s unclear how many games he will miss.
Celtic suffer another injury, as player misses training.
Nawrocki has had a disappointing season at Celtic after coming from Legia Warsaw in the summer for a reported €5 million.
It’s fair to assume that his long-term status at Parkhead is uncertain.
One can only hope that Carter-Vickers will be able to stay fit for the foreseeable future.
Otherwise, the Hoops might be in trouble coming into the season’s final stretch, with little room for mistake.
The forthcoming match versus Dundee FC is crucial. With Rangers won 5-0 against Hearts,
Celtic must deliver a convincing performance as well,
and they cannot allow Philippe Clement’s team to have all of the momentum in the final few months of the season.
