BREAKING NEWS:Former Denver Broncos QB Being Sued By Ex-Staffer For Shocking Harassment Allegations
With the final pick of the 2017 NFL Draft, the Denver Broncos chose former Ole Miss quarterback Chad Kelly, who is the nephew of
Buffalo Bills legend Jim Kelly.
Kelly, who just finished an outstanding season at Ole Miss, was once a preseason standout for the Broncos. When he was on the roster
from 2017 to 2018, fans were clamoring for him to actually start some games because of how much the team had been struggling to
find continuity and consistency at the position.
The Denver Broncos appeared to be considering starting Kelly over Case Keenum at one point during the 2018 season. However, that
didn’t work out as Kelly ended up in trouble following Von Miller’s yearly Halloween party, which will go down in NFL off-field history
as one of the most bizarre incidents ever.
To put it mildly, it was an odd circumstance that started during Von Miller’s Halloween gathering. Police reports state that Chad Kelly,
who was ostensibly dressed as a cowboy, wandered into a residence, sat down on the couch and began to “mumble incoherently.” The homeowners then beat Kelly with a vacuum tube because they thought he was an invader,
which he technically was. Kelly’s brief tenure with the Denver Broncos came to an end after the event, though it’s still unknown what
the was charged with or if he was prosecuted legally at all. He quickly became Mr. Irrelevant, unlike Brock Purdy.
Former NFL player Chad Kelly is being sued by a former teammate, who says she was let go for pushing back against his advances.
If the most recent accusations against Kelly are accurate, it appears that the trend is repeating itself once more.
Just as he starts to feel a little success, he starts to self-destruct and gets into trouble.
Kelly was mentioned in a wrongful-dismissal case brought by a former female strength-and-conditioning coach for the Argonauts, as
TSN originally reported. The former QB for the Denver Broncos is accused of flagrant harassment in the lawsuit, which was filed in
Toronto on Tuesday. Chad Kelly “repeatedly sought to initiate romantic connections… by asking [her] out on numerous occasions,”
according to the plaintiff in the lawsuit. Chad continued to approach her despite [her] courteous rejections, exhibiting a behavior
pattern that was concerning.
