When is a conspiracy not a conspiracy? When it’s made up gibberish from a Celtic fan after seeing Rangers cement their two-point advantage at the of of the table.

Many of them would have expected us to drop points against a Hearts team in good form, only for Gers manager Philippe Clement to orchestrate the season’s best domestic performance.

However, we won so comfortably not because Rangers played brilliantly, but because they altered formation to make things easier for us, as

Hearts TV’s commentator made amusingly clear.

Was Rangers’ crushing victory over Hearts a conspiracy?

Hearts’ record versus Rangers isn’t terrific, given their status as the country’s third best team, but it’s even worse against Celtic – a point they often overlook.

Rangers have only beaten Hearts by the odd goal before Saturday, and the previous meeting between the two sides at Ibrox required two injury-time wins.

Again, something they fail to disclose.

One Celtic supporter said on X, in reaction to a big story about Hearts lying down to Rangers on a Celtic blog, that there was something evil going on.

“I watched 5 mins of the Hearts TV feed and their own commentary team claimed “the manager has entirely transformed the shape and and I’m not sure why” take from that what you will.”

Laurie Dunsire, the Hearts TV pundit, quickly responded:

“Well, that’s just a complete lie.”

Further along the conversation, after being called out, the Celtic supporter retracts and even apologizes for the claim.

Why let a falsehood stand in the way of a wonderful tale, conspiracy, and so on?

Prior to their latest victory at Parkhead, Hearts had played 24 games, lost 23, and drawn one at Celtic’s home pitch.

But is it a conspiracy because we defeated them at Ibrox?

That’s almost as awful as claiming the SFA and SPFL are against you after winning (or being granted) every trophy in a four-year span.

The underlying problem is that they refuse to acknowledge that we are a decent squad now.

Pure, uncomplicated, and long may it continue.
