has their own wish list, complete with priority “purchases” for the hottest early stages of the market.

The ascent of C.J. Stroud along with basic geography makes

it understandable why a lot of Texans supporters would like to see the team challenge Tampa Bay wide receiver Mike Evan,

a native of Galveston.

Throughout his likely Hall of Fame career,

Evans has been the epitome of consistency.

He spent his entire ten-year career in Tampa Bay,

never missing more than 13 games or gaining fewer than 1,000 receiving yards in a season.

Given that he had 1,255 receiving yards and a league-high 13 touchdown catches in his most recent season at the age of 30,

one could argue that it was his greatest.

It makes sense that Tampa Bay would want to hang onto Evans as the best receiver in the team’s history,

but negotiations have not yet resulted in a deal.
