Rangers blast Benfica Europa League kick-off time as UEFA appeal rejected
The return leg at Ibrox, on March 14, will, however, begin at 5.45pm due to “broadcaster commitments”.
Ibrox officials have expressed their unhappiness with the decision,
despite a “robust case being made to UEFA” for the match to be played at the regular 8 p.m. slot.

A statement on the club website read: “Rangers, on behalf of our supporters,
are disappointed to learn that our Round of 16 Europa League home encounter against Benfica on Thursday, March 14, will begin at 17:45.
“Despite a strong argument being made to UEFA for the fixture to be played in the regular 20:00 slot,
it will instead start substantially earlier, mostly due to broadcasting commitments,
