Shocking News: Unbelievable, Rangers best players is ill
It was an unbelievably loud night at Ibrox, so much so that Moris had to take painkillers the next day.
Anthony Moris, the keeper for Union SG, said he has never heard anything as loud as when they played Rangers at
Ibrox. Following their Europa League match, he had to take medications to relieve his headache.
Two years ago, in the Champions League qualifying round, Gio van Bronckhorst’s Gers overcame a 2-0 deficit in the
first leg thanks to a remarkable comeback by veteran Luxembourg international Moris in goal. After dominating the
league this season and going eight points clear at the top, the 33-year-old, who has 63 caps for his country, is looking
to guide the team to its first Belgian crown in an amazing 89 years.
The 33-year-old did not hesitate to mention his journey to Ibrox when questioned about the loudest atmosphere of
his career. “I think the atmosphere at the Rangers game at Ibrox was the best I’ve ever experienced,” he stated. After
the game, the noise caused such a severe headache that I had to take paracetamol.
“It was by far the noisiest game I have ever played. Even though we lost, there’s no denying that this team gained a
great deal of knowledge from the match in Scotland.
“Although nothing was as crazy as that night in Glasgow, it helped us understand what we would face in towns like
Brugges, Antwerp, and Standard Liege. That game was a terrific experience for all of us.”
