Barry Ferguson believes that Fabio Silva’s case is still open because the striker from Wolves is still learning his way around Rangers.

The former Porto wonderkid, who cost Wolves a club record £35.6 million in 2020 when he was just 18 years old, hasn’t exactly taken

off in Scottish football, according to Gers veteran Ferguson. Although Fergie is pleased with

the young person’s work ethic, she thinks the best is still to come.

“I want to see a bit more from him, there’s no doubt about that,” he stated to Go Radio. He will work diligently for the team and has a

good work rate. But I’m hoping for a little bit higher caliber. Perhaps that will materialize. Some players require a little longer time to

Silva scored 15 goals in 46 appearances while playing on loan for Anderlecht and PSV Eindhoven in Belgium and the Netherlands,

respectively, during the previous season.
