Most recent Everton transfer rummor
Here is the most recent Everton transfer news.
Goodison Park did not add any new players during the January transfer window, which Sean Dyche did not spend a single pound on.
This was probably because of the FFP concerns following the Premier League’s 10-point deduction and subsequent rule violations.
All eyes will be on the summer transfer window from now on, but unless the Toffees make a few sells,
it’s unclear just how much they can afford to spend.
Pete O’Rourke reports that Jack Harrison, who is presently on loan at Everton, could be sold by Leeds United.
In other developments, Voetbalkrant reports that Chelsea wants to sign central midfielder Amadou Onana during the summer transfer window before Newcastle United does.
Last but not least, the Daily Mail reports that Jarrad Branthwaite is a target for this summer’s signings
by Manchester United, Real Madrid, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, and Arsenal.
Summer transfer window update
The summer transfer window saw Everton spend all of their money on two forwards, Youssef Chermiti and Beto, which hasn’t exactly gone well for Sean Dyche.
Everything else depended on loan deals and free agents.
Although about £65 million in cash was raised by five players to secure their permanent exits,
this was insufficient to prevent punishment.
Many of the players leaving Goodison Park were considered surplus to requirements.
That group includes players like Asmir Begovic, Tom Davies, Ellis Simms, Thomas Cannon, Neal Maupay, Andros Townsend, and Jean-Philippe Gbamin.
