Kaiser Chiefs announced as headline act as huge seafront festival returns to region

The Kaiser Chiefs will be the headline act at Soundwave Festival at Seaton Carew on July 27

This summer, a waterfront event is returning to Teesside,

and the Kaiser Chiefs will be playing there.

This year’s Soundwave Festival will be held at Seaton Carew on Saturday,

July 27, featuring the Kaiser Chiefs as the main performer. To a sold-out crowd last year,

Bastille performed as the event’s main act.

Joe Franks, the organiser of Soundwave Festival from Hartlepool,

said this year’s festival “promises to be the biggest yet”.

Joe stated: “In addition to some incredible local talent,

attendees can anticipate seeing a caliber of support acts join them on the main stage.

” The full lineup for the two new stages that will open this year

—BBC Introducing and a comedy lineup that promises to be quite funny—will be unveiled very shortly!

“Soundwave will keep providing a variety of entertainment and facilities for attendees,

including regional food vendors, handmade goods booths,

enormous fun fairs, glitter, and a ton of other unique fun for all ages to enjoy all day long.”

Lead vocalist Ricky Wilson, guitarist Andrew White, bassist Simon Rix,

keyboardist Nick Baines, and drummer Vijay Mistry comprise the boy band Kaiser Chiefs, who were formed in Leeds. The group was founded about ten years ago.

Soundwave 2024 tickets will go on sale for pre-sale registration only on Wednesday,

February 7 at 9 a.m. This is when you can sign up to get first dibs on the few available Early Bird tickets. Tickets for the general sale will go on sale at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 8.
