Breaking News :Chiefs To Sign Star WR Over Chris Jones

The Kansas City Chiefs won back-to-back Super Bowls, defying many pundits’ predictions.

This club transitioned from an offensive mindset to depending on their defense to get the job done.

Of course, this only increased the importance of star DT Chris Jones, which is why most fans and pundits believe the team cannot afford to lose him in free agency.

However, Jeff Darlington does not appear to agree.

On ESPN’s Get Up, he argued that the Chiefs should choose WR Mike Evans over Jones, assuming they must choose due to the contract restriction.

“I would rather Mike Evans in this offense than Chris Jones on this defense,” Darlington said in a statement.
He said that while this squad has demonstrated the ability to switch between offensive and defensive roles,

that does not imply they should believe they can always win Super Bowls despite a lack of talent in the skill areas.

Darlington believes the Chiefs should put additional weapons around Patrick Mahomes.

Of course, acquiring Mike Evans would be fantastic for this offense, especially since Mahomes has already won two Super Bowls without Tyreek Hill.

Even yet, we’re talking about one of the best defensive players in the game, and this championship-caliber defense will have the majority of its studs back next season, so letting him go may not be in their best interests.

One thing is certain: the Chiefs will improve in the off season, which is a scary idea for the rest of the NFL.
