Philippe Clement has vowed the Europa League is not a distraction for Rangers.
Clement shuts down Rangers Europa League ‘distraction’ narrative
Next month, the Belgian manager will guide his team into the competition’s later phases.
He has maintained, though, that he won’t forgo any competition this season because doing so may cause his mental state to collapse.
Instead, Clement has stated that his team will “go full” on every front until the end of the season. Rangers is leading the league title race, the Scottish Cup, the Europa League, and the Viaplay Cup.
When asked if the Europa League may be seen as a diversion from the competitive championship race that is currently underway, he responded, “No.” I want to produce winners as soon as I walk into a space. Winners always go full, in my opinion.
“You cannot argue that we want to take a break and would miss this match or this competition.
“You’re no longer a winner if you do that. You are no longer operating with the proper mentality or understanding.
We shall so compete fully in all three events.
We also know that winning a title or a cup here is not nearly as difficult as it is in the Europa League given the caliber of the other teams.
“The budgets and level with several teams are higher than ours.
“We’re going to give every competition our all. I won’t lose to any competition.
