Broncos select QB Spencer Rattler in 2024 NFL mock draft

Curt Popejoy of Draft Wire has projected the Denver Broncos will select a quarterback in four

rounds of the 2024 NFL mock draft, but not in the first round.

Dallas Turner, an Alabama pass rusher, is projected by Popejoy to be the Broncos’ first-round selection.

Denver’s second-round pick was sent to the New Orleans Saints as part of last year’s Sean Payton trade,

thus the team will have to wait until the third round to reopen.

Spencer Rattler, a quarterback from South Carolina, is selected by the Broncos in the third round.

Between the Turner (No. 12) and Rattler (No. 76) picks, four further quarterbacks are selected:

Michael Penix (No. 39), Bo Nix (No. 42), J.J. McCarthy (No. 43), and Michael Pratt (No. 74).

Rattler (6-1, 200 pounds) completed 68.9% of his passes for 3,186 yards with 19 touchdowns against

eight interceptions last season.

The 2024 NFL draft will be held in Detroit from April 25-27.

The Broncos currently hold six picks, and they hope to acquire more.
