Rangers could sanction the departure of Tom Lawrence next summer, sources have told Football Insider.
Speaking to the new edition of Football Insider’s Insider Track Podcast, transfer correspondent Pete O’Rourke
revealed the 30-year-old could be sold with Philippe Clement keen to shape the squad in his image.
Football Insider has been informed by reliable sources that the manager is keen to bring in young,
high-potential players in upcoming windows and reduce the average age of his team.
Derby County offered Lawrence a three-year contract with a one-year option to extend back in the summer of 2022,
so the Gers might profit handsomely from the free agent acquisition.

The forward has made just 26 appearances in all competitions, with an Achilles injury forcing him
to the sidelines for the majority of last season.
The Wales international has scored three goals and provided four assists during his spell at Ibrox.
Oscar Cortes and Mohamed Diomande are two of the young players Rangers acquired during the January transfer window.
This is likely to be the club’s acquisition policy going forward.
Borna Barisic, 31, is another player the team appears certain to lose as Football Insider reported on
February 15 that he is prepared to leave the team this summer when his contract expires.
Rangers sit level on points and goal difference with league leaders Celtic after their 3-1 win against
Ross County on Wednesday (14 February).
They are next set to face St Johnstone away on Sunday afternoon (18 February).
