After arriving to Ibrox in 2020, the 31-year-old has made an impression in front of goal, despite his limited playing time due to injury.
He hasn’t played in the Scottish Premiership in almost two months, and it’s said that his time with the Gers is running out.
It’s becoming more likely, per Football Insider, that he will depart Rangers when his current contract ends at the end of the season.
According to reports, the Scottish powerhouses will decide against extending new terms to the forward because to his injury concerns.
Before joining Anderlecht in 2019, Roofe played 122 games for Leeds, tallying 14 assists and 33 goals. His time in Belgium turned out
to be brief, and a year later Rangers signed him.
Although Roofe is clearly gifted, if he does decide to leave Ibrox this summer, clubs may be put off by his injury history.
But his stellar resume might tempt teams to take a chance.
