Philippe Clement has garnered a lot of acclaim from Four Lads Had a Dream for making Rangers serious

title challengers this year.

When Michael Beale was fired, the Bears looked to be out of the race.

However, a few months later, the Ibrox club is currently tied with Celtic for second place in the table only because of goals scored.

Despite the 3-1 win over Ross County on Wednesday night, the team came in for criticism due to scoring just three times

from 23 shots on target but Four Lads took to their personal Twitter account (15 February) to add

some balance to the argument and praise the team.

They commented, “I can’t shake the feeling we were excellent last night, despite the negativity it seems on here.”

“Observing the team configuration, it is clear that everyone knows their role and that we are well-coordinated and instructed.

All of the things we complained about—shooting more beyond the area, cutting down on pointless passes,

being more creative, creating more opportunities, picking up the pace—have significantly improved.

“We pushed them to play after the break, and they’ve won seven straight, scoring 18 and giving up three.

” We’ve eliminated the huge lead and goal differential. We aren’t perfect, so mistakes will happen, but overall we’re doing quite good.

“We are in a proper title race, players and management get all the credit from me for making that possible Let’s go win it.”

Rangers are a serious football team again under Philippe Clement

It has been a phenomenal rollercoaster of a season for Rangers so far, but there’s no doubt the

team is far better under Clement than it was under Michael Beale.

Rangers are winning all they play, but Celtic don’t appear nearly as good as they were under

Ange Postecoglou and have obvious weaknesses in their game that may be exploited.

Everybody can see the progress and how the team is improving every week.

The manager’s additions have also arrived and are having an instant effect.

For Ibrox supporters, the fact that there is a title competition at all is significant, as only a few months prior,

everyone was simply anticipating Celtic to glide to yet another championship.

Both teams won’t have it easy, but it seems like Blues supporters just need to be a little more

patient and give the squad the credit they deserve. Four Lads has done a fantastic job of bringing

the debate into balance and summarising the main points.
