Rangers injury news: Doctor drops Danilo training claim post knee setback

Dr Rajpal Brar has stated that Danilo, a striker for Rangers, will be receiving neuromuscular training

in order to heal from his knee injury.

The injury expert concurs that the Gers’ medical staff made the right decision in delaying his return following a significant setback.

According to Philippe Clement, it appears doubtful that he will rejoin the first squad before the season concludes.

Physical therapist and sports scientist Brar spoke exclusively with Ibrox News about his circumstances. He said:

According to Clement, the medical staff does not want to send him back too soon so that he can play when the season ends.

“The remarks show that they are handling the injury sensibly; they aren’t attempting to push him back to play

for a few weeks before he’s ready.

His routine will consist of increasing amounts of sport-specific work interspersed with a progression of strength,

mobility, and neuromuscular training.

“He won’t be back before April, even if he returns to individual training this season.”

Danilo will join the Rangers as a brand-new player.

The Brazilian gave hints as to why he was brought to Ibrox in the summer, and

he will undoubtedly make an impression the following campaign.

In 12 games this season, he has four league goals and one assist. Those stats may not seem too remarkable,

but only five of those games were starts.
