The former Morecambe manager’s disastrous spell in the Scottish Premiership has left rookie

manager Don Cowie in charge of Dingwall.

This is Cowie’s first managerial experience. After welcoming Neil Warnock and Aberdeen to Rangers last week, Philippe Clement is

playing against a new manager for the second straight league game.

Michel Clement discusses Don Cowie

Prior to the match at Ibrox, where Rangers would win with at least three goals to secure the top spot,

Philippe Clement has been discussing the circumstances.

Although there isn’t much proof of Cowie’s techniques, the Belgian doesn’t think the former Scotland

international will invent the wheel.

Clement remarked, “You need to see if somebody else comes in and what their ideas are.” In this instance, it’s less evident because the

person in question isn’t a seasoned coach or someone with prior first-team experience.

“I doubt there will be any major surprises. The good news is, as I’ve mentioned numerous times already, we have four months to go

until we have experiences working together when other teams play in other formations than ours.
