Oliver Glasner linked with Bayern Munich after Rangers rumours
Reports from October of last year indicated that Oliver Glasner, an Austrian coach, had put himself up for the Rangers position.
Rangers supporters were familiar with Glasner because he led Eintracht Frankfurt to victory over the Gers in the 2022 Europa League final.
Surprisingly, Glasner hasn’t found employment elsewhere since leaving Frankfurt at the end of the previous season, leaving him unemployed.
Although Glasner’s attempt to join the Rangers was unsuccessful, he may possibly land a big position.
Reporter Christian Falk said on Bild TV over the weekend that Glasner is one name Bayern Munich is thinking about.
After losing 3-0 to Bayer Leverkusen over the weekend, Thomas Tuchel is currently under a lot of pressure as he
trails Xabi Alonso’s team by five points at the top of the Bundesliga table.
Joachim Loew and former Bayern manager Hansi Flick.
That would be an incredible move for Glasner, who might be tasked with bringing Bayern back on track for the title if
Tuchel doesn’t make a change.
When Glasner was being connected to the Rangers, few could have imagined that his
biggest job to yet would be on the horizon.
