The Kansas City Chiefs need only one more victory to claim the status of a true dynasty.

Super Bowl LVIII, which will take place in Las Vegas and feature the Chiefs versus the San Francisco 49ers,

is a historic occasion since it will be the first Super Bowl held in the city.

Despite experiencing ups and downs during the 2023 NFL season, Kansas City

has demonstrated that they are capable of improving when the playoffs arrive.

The Chiefs have a chance to win their third ring in five years after dominating the AFC

under head coach Andy Reid and behind quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Despite some setbacks for the offense this season, Kansas City has still managed to win games.

Fortunately, some help could be on the way as the team is planning to activate running back

Jerick McKinnon ahead of Super Bowl LVIII, via Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

The #Chiefs are activating RB Jerick McKinnon from Injured Reserve to the 53-man

roster for the Super Bowl. He’s still questionable and will be a game-time decision,” Rapoport reported.

With a groin issue, McKinnon has been out since Week 16, but he was able to get in one session this past week.

Considering how difficult groin injuries are to treat, there’s no assurance the veteran will play even though he is

eligible to return. To move the ball via the air, Mahomes has had to rely a lot on Travis Kelce and Rashee Rice,

so if he suits up, he would be a welcome addition to the pass game.
