Dr Rajpal Brar has stated that it is doubtful that Rangers defender Ben Davies will

play the entire ninety minutes against Ayr United.

His questionable absence over the past few weeks has been met by an injury setback

that hasn’t provided any details.

Before the match on Saturday, February 10, Clement did, however, announce on

Friday that the 28-year-old is once again in the running.

Physical therapist and sports scientist Brar spoke exclusively with Ibrox News about

his circumstances. He said:

There are several reasons why the details of an injury may not be disclosed.

The team may be attempting to withhold information, the player may be the source,

and so

“Since he’s back in the mix, he ought to be taking part in full first-team training, albeit

he might not be prepared for the entire ninety minutes.

“He could play for an hour at the beginning and then be substituted out in the second

half.”

Rangers’ injury count has increased

Leon Balogun’s injury also left Clement lacking two center backs, so he will be happy

to see Davies return.

The former Liverpool defender, who has been a constant in the Gers’ defense this

season, might replace Connor Goldson..
