Jack Butland, the goalkeeper for Rangers, may receive a dream
call-up to the England team by Gareth Southgate before Euro 2024.
That is the opinion of England goalkeeping coach Martyn Margetson,
who disclosed that following an outstanding first half-year at Ibrox with
19 clean sheets in 29 games, he is monitoring the 30-year-old shotstopper
. Butland has now earned nine caps for England; the most recent one was
earned in a 2018 friendly match against Switzerland.
“There is no doubt that Jack is on the radar,”
Margetson stated to the Daily Record. I’ve been following all of his games,
and I’m rather happy with his performance.
