Rangers fans – many of whom had promised themselves they wouldn’t fall in love with another loan player – are really beginning to take to the Wolves loanee.

And going by Fabio Silva’s latest post on X, the short-term love-affair between Rangers and the £35m ex-FC Porto man isn’t going to end anytime soon.

Fabio Silva called Ibrox “our home” in a statement shared on X and praised Rangers supporters for their enthusiastic

cheering during the team’s victory over Aberdeen.

Even though he did not score in the 2-1 victory over Aberdeen, the Portuguese striker gave the Dons a relentless performance that evening.

The Portuguese striker is undoubtedly gaining a lot of popularity in Glasgow, and Fabio is very well-liked by Rangers supporters.

Having opened his account in the 3-0 win over Livingston at the weekend, it’s now about building on that this season

but Rangers fans aren’t without hope of a longer stay in Glasgow.

Loan Rangers could have Ibrox future

When discussing Fabio Silva’s long-term future earlier this week, Jorge Silva, the player’s agent and father, hinted

that a lengthier stay at Rangers would be feasible.

Silva asserts that his kid needs to “settle somewhere,” and if the hitman continues on his current trajectory, “home” might end up being Silva’s favorite place to be in May.

Silva Sr. stated, “We have a long contract with Wolves, but Fabio needs to settle down somewhere.”

If Fabio performs well, even on loan, is there a chance he’ll stay with Rangers for the upcoming season? Yes, I believe so. Hey, a lot can happen in four months.

However, I’m hoping Rangers win the title this year, which would be fantastic for both Fabio and the team.

“For Fabio, playing in the Champions League has always been a dream. Right now, he needs his career to continue.
