Rangers scouts get Brighton seal of approval as Romano confirms £19.2m move

Rangers star Mohamed Diomande to the United Kingdom.

It builds on the solid ties that West Ham and Ibrahim Osman had during the January transfer window; Osman is a

young striker who is among the best-regarded in Europe.

If the transfer goes through, Osman will join Brighton in the summer and will be the second graduate of the Right to

Dream Academy to leave FC Nordsjaelland in as many weeks.

A football-based social mobility initiative called the Right to Dream Academy provides scholarships

to gifted children on the west coast of Africa.

Located in Ghana, the inspiring initiative has produced a number of young people in recent seasons, the most well-

known of whom is perhaps Mohamed Kudus, who is currently with West Ham.

With strong ties to the Academy, FC Nordsjaelland is currently witnessing two of its initiatives make extremely

intriguing moves to the UK.

Rangers are hoping that Mohamed Diomande can make an impression at Ibrox and eventually be sold for a high

price, which will assist jump-start the club’s faltering player trading model.

Ibrahim Osman’s ability to have been selected straight out of Scandinavia is a credit to Brighton’s recruitment

department, which is renowned for its skill at acquiring players ahead of schedule.

Mohamed Diomande made his debut for Rangers in the midweek victory over Aberdeen and Ibrox fans got a little glimpse of the Ivorian’s ability.
