A new signee, Ryan Day’s quarterback plan and handling the potential departure of Bill O’Brien: Buckeye Talk Podcast
Ryan Day’s first opportunity to discuss all the positive developments surrounding the Ohio State football program over the last
month or two was scheduled for this Wednesday.
Rather, it became a day full of inquiries about whether Day would have to make a decision on the future of his department,
something he wasn’t entirely thrilled to do, because of a recent job availability at Boston College.
On this episode of Buckeye Talk, Stephen Means and Nathan Baird discuss Bill O’Brien being potential departure
just weeks after being hired as OSU’s offensive coordinator. They also talk about why Day chose that now was the perfect
time to give up playcalling, a position battle on the right side of the offensive line and what the quarterback battle could look like.
Then, Dominic Kirks—the sole member of the Buckeyes’ 2024 recruiting class who was still unsigned as of this week—is discussed
by Stephen and Andrew Gillis.
