Connor Barron gave Rangers a close-up look as he made an impression with Aberdeen,

the Ibrox-tipped midfielder.

This season, the Scotland U21 player, who has six months left on his Dons contract,

has found himself in and out of the team under former manager Barry Robson on several occasions.

Barron continued to play for Neil Warnock’s starting lineup in Glasgow and picked up

an assist at Ibrox when the Aberdeen player’s long pass was grabbed by a ravenous Bojan Miovski.

The assist demonstrated to Rangers supporters why some have been

projecting Connor Barron as a long-term Ryan Jack replacement,

even though it was not to be a game-changing moment.

Connor Barron, a dynamic midfield player with a knack for passing, is regarded

as one of the Scottish Premiership’s best homegrown players.

The midfielder is still young at age 21, and in addition to his impressive skills,

he is free agent after allowing his Dons contract to expire.

The Ryan Jack parallels are evident both on and off the field,

which has led to several rumors about a move to the Rangers.
