Glasgow Rangers and Celtic are involved in a competitive Scottish Premiership title chase for the first time in years.

We find ourselves in February approaching the business end of the campaign and the Glasgow arch-rivals sit just three points apart at the summit of the table.

Rangers, on Neil Warnock’s managerial debut, have the opportunity to take the Hoops’ lead at Ibrox this evening if they overcome Aberdeen.

We’re in for a fantastic run of months until the season concludes in May. But may the league title be moving in only one direction as we finish the final Old Firm game before the post-split fixtures?

Simply put, Rangers are in a strong position to establish a lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership. Of course, things could turn out differently, but Celtic are stumbling.
