Even with Celtic’s recent unsatisfactory performance, certain players have been performing above their abilities this year. It raises a question. Who will win Player of the Year at the end of the season?

Still, there should only be one individual in the running. Former Rangers striker Lee McCulloch is adamant on which Celtic player deserves to win the coveted trophy out of all the players competing in the Scottish Premiership.

McCulloch declared, “It’s got to be O’Riley. At this moment in time, it’s got to be O’Riley. Is O’Riley double figures in goals? It’s got to be O’Riley. He’s been brilliant this season.”

Clubs throughout Europe have taken note of him after his performances for Celtic in the Champions League, so it’s no surprise that many believe Celtic will profit handsomely from his sale.

I have no doubt that O’Riley will be vying for the Player of the Year Award. However, what the Celtics’ supporters really want from their star midfield player right now is for him to keep up his strong play in order to win the league title at the end of the campaign.
