Rodgers admits Rangers have improved, putting pressure on his Celtic side.

The Rangers have only three points to make up and a game in hand over the Hoops,

and their play has improved considerably since Philippe Clement took charge.

Rodgers understands that his team’s former rivals are constantly improving,

but his players must focus on their own performances to avoid losing sight of what it takes to win the league title again.

“I remarked at the start of the season that winning any league requires hard work,

but I also believe that competition improves you.

I’ve spent enough time in the Premier League to know the improvements Man City could make because of  the challenges

they had around them and it’s no different to any league,” he told Sky Sports.

“Competition is a motivator to improve and be better.

Rangers have undoubtedly accomplished this, but our primary focus is on ourselves and enhancing our own performance.
