Leon Balogun worries about whether his injury from the Rangers’ victory over Livingston requires surgery.

The center-back suffered a facial injury midway through the first half of the Ibrox match, and it’s possible that he broke a bone in his face. It was thought that the, who has previously worn protective masks during games, could make it through these ones as well, but Philippe Clement has disclosed that he will consult with a specialist to determine whether surgery is required.

Ryan Jack, meanwhile, will not be present when Aberdeen, led by Neil Warnock, meets tomorrow night. Due to his history of injuries, the manager stated that it would be unreasonable to ask the midfield player to play again three days later. As a result, the midfielder was unable to play against his old team.

When asked about an update on injuries, Clement stated: “Ryan Jack won’t be playing tomorrow; given his history of injuries, it makes sense to avoid putting him at risk for two games in a short amount of time while we work on his recovery.

“Leon Balogun will speak with a specialist to see if he needs surgery.”
