Vontaze Burfict, the former linebacker for the Cincinnati Bengals, is not appreciated by most NFL fans, but a sizable portion of them do. Considered by many to be among the dirtiest players in league history.

Until his junior year at Arizona State, Burfict was considered one of the best players available at his position in the 2012 NFL Draft; however, he was not taken because of inconsistent play, a poor showing at the Combine, and off-field problems.

The seven seasons Vontaze Burfict spent with the Bengals and his one season with the Raiders perfectly complement that narrative. Despite the fact that he was a rookie and earned the All-Pro second team in his second season, dirty play ruined his career.
