Although Mike McCarthy is the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys, things might swiftly change based on how the upcoming season unfolds.

Furthermore, Bill Belichick’s availability will undoubtedly cloud what happens early on with the Cowboys in 2024, s

ince he may still be available as a coach.

Jerry Jones, the Cowboys’ owner, stated he never spoke to any coaching candidates following the team’s disastrous season, but this week he made it apparent that he and Belichick could collaborate.

Jones reportedly stated on Tuesday, “I like [Belichick] and I know him personally,” according Yahoo Sports.

“I have no doubt that we could collaborate.” Not one. None at all.

Jones knew full well that the general consensus was that there was one obstacle that may prevent Belichick from coming to Dallas.

Belichick is known to crave power, and the Cowboys owner is well-known for having a penchant for it within the football department.

However, Jones wanted it to be apparent that he could collaborate with one of the best coaches in the history of the sport.

Jones remarked, “We all know that he’s certainly excellent—possibly at the top of his profession.

” It is absurd to claim that meeting one person can guarantee you a Super Bowl. For him, that’s too big of an expectation.

Is he, however, the best professional football coach of all time? Quite maybe.

“I want to be clear that I would not have any issues working with him; he is a friend and I like him.”

Jones is in favor of McCarthy after his third straight 12-win season concluded with a swift exit from the playoffs.

The owner of the Cowboys commended McCarthy’s work with starting quarterback Dak Prescott, who finished the season with the highest touchdown pass total in the league and a career-best passer rating of 105.9.

“His work in the offense and with Dak was excellent,” Jones remarked.

“He and I both feel, as do we all, that Dak still needs a great deal of improvement.

Continuity is the best strategy to obtain the flesh that is on the bone.

McCarthy remains the Cowboys’ coach for the time being, but Jones is making sure to end one very intriguing story.
