Rangers academy receives six-figure donation thanks to RYDC support

After giving the Auchenhowie academy another six-figure donation,

the Rangers Youth Development Company has surpassed the £11 million donation mark.

Since 2002, the RYDC has been a major and consistent supporter of the youth system.

products like Stadium Bricks, The Union Jackpot half-time draw,

Rangers Lotto, and scratchcards all go toward the

development of the next wave of Ibrox heroes.

Supporters watched their money being invested in the team once more on

Monday afternoon as Colin Stewart,

the director of operations at RYDC, presented a cheque for £400,000.

And as he looks to promote more youngsters

through the Ibrox levels in the upcoming years, new academy director Zeb Jacobs is grateful for the support of the supporters.

Jacobs stated: “I would like to express my gratitude to The Rangers Youth Development Company for their recent

£400,000 donation on behalf of the Academy’s staff and players.

The Academy has received an amazing amount of financial assistance, over £11 million, thanks to their generosity

and the generosity of Rangers supporters.

That kind of ongoing assistance is really appreciated by all of us, and it has a good impact on our work every day.

“We want the youngsters at our Academy to help the Rangers win, and Ross is a prime example of this.

Thanks to our Football Board and excellent communication between myself, the manager, and Brian Gilmour,

we’re building a culture with a really strong football alignment.

But our Academy does more than only produce players for the starting lineup.

Each person in our building is traveling at a different pace and aiming for a different goal. Our goal is to give each

talent the greatest experience possible.

Ross McCausland was also present for the cheque presentation.

On Saturday, he helped Philippe Clement’s team defeat St. Mirren, continuing his ascent up the ranks.

Shortly after making his debut for Northern Ireland on the international scene, the winger recently inked a new

long-term deal at Ibrox.

In recent seasons, RYDC money has also benefited players including Robby McCrorie, Leon King,

Adam Devine, and

Nathan Patterson. Stewart has offered thanks to the fans who continue to invest in the club’s future.

“RYDC is thrilled to donate an additional £400,000 to The Rangers Academy,

marking our cumulative contribution to the Rangers youth program since 2002 to over £11 million,” stated

Stewart. It’s a really impressive sum, and we have to give thanks to the Rangers fans once more for their ongoing

support in purchasing our merchandise every week.

Every year, the Academy receives a donation of every cent made from Rangers Lotto, The Union Jackpot, Stadium Bricks, and Scratchcards.

This aids in the development of our young players, and it is always encouraging to see rookies like Ross

McCausland have an effect on the first team.

“Moreover, RYDC has awarded millions of pounds in awards to supporters, who have taken home over

£300,000 in prize money in the past year alone. RYDC benefits the Academy and its fans as well,

and I’m excited to collaborate with Zeb and his team to raise awareness of our goods throughout 2024. I express my

gratitude to him, David, and Ross for their support today as we confirm an additional quite noteworthy donation.
