‘Real winner’, ‘Good dribbler’: Rangers reportedly set to make another signing as medical imminent
Mohamed Diomande, a prodigy from Nordsjaelland, is apparently getting closer to moving to Ibrox, meaning Rangers might soon be adding a new player.
This month, Rangers have only added one player: Wolverhampton Wanderers loanee Fabio Silva, a striker.
But before next week’s transfer deadline, fans are eager to see more players arrive, and coach Philippe Clement most likely shares those sentiments.
Nordsjaelland has agreed to trade midfielder Mohamed Diomande to Rangers, according to a report published in the Danish tabloid BT.
Diomande is scheduled to have a medical soon after returning from Nordsjaelland’s training camp in the United States.

Diomande hails from the Ivory Coast but came through the Right to Dream academy in Ghana, which has strong ties to Danish side Nordsjaelland.

After receiving his professional debut in February 2020, Diomande has made 111 appearances for Nordsjaelland and hasn’t looked back.
The 22-year-old has made 13 goals and 14 assists in Denmark while primarily playing as a number 10 or center midfielder.
Diomande has won an Under-23 cap for the Ivory Coast but has not yet received a senior cap. After joining Rangers, he will pursue senior caps.
